Invaders of the land turned Hindu fanatics are smarting as killers under the menace called ‘Hinduism’.

Dr. Graham Stuart Staines (1941-19990), an Australian Christian Missionary along with his two sons Philip and Timothy, aged 10 and 6 were burnt to death by Hindu fanatics owing allegiance to an extremist outfit by name Bajrang Dal under the leadership of one Dara Singh, who has been sentenced to death for his involvement in the murder but which was reversed to life imprisonment by Supreme Court on 21.01.2011. Dr. Stanes worked in Orissa among the tribal poor and leprosy patients till he was murdered with his two siblings on 22.01.1999.

Persecution, arson, looting and violence went unabated for over two years with many innocent Christians killed on the plea of forced conversion.
Hindus who picked up quarrel on the plea of an arch having been erected at a spot held as location for Puja festival turned ugly when on 24.12.2007 around 150 to 200 activists of Bajrang Dal laid siege to Christian dominated areas and engaged the innocent tribals in pitched battles, arson, looting etc.
